About Us:

Magicians' Cards (.com) is a department of the online magician's department store Treece's (.com).

Its motto is "Practical Decks for Practising Magicians" and it is a reaction to the decrease in choice of quality cards for amateur and working card magicians over the last decade in the UK.

"Less choice? There's more choice than ever!" some may say, and yes, there are constantly new Bicycle decks released for film franchises, luxury decks with foil-stamped boxes themed after various time periods and every year a range of fresh beautiful geometric patterned decks launch, perfect for cardistry.

These are great, we're not against them, we may even have a few in a drawer, it's just not what we're concentrating on in this shop.

Why "less choice" then? The rise of these decks has meant many magic shops have had to dilute their "standard" decks, pushing out entire manufacturers in some instances. In turn, some magicians have only known card magic in the period where USPCC have dominated and may never have handled a Piatnik or Anglo deck, or even tried learning sleights with a good quality Bridge-sized deck.

Here you'll find as wide a range as we can get of good quality magicians' decks, standard and gimmicked, from all manufacturers we would recommend. It's all plain old red and blue decks (with two black decks, the exceptions to prove the rule), but the differences in these decks are still profound, though not just because of the back design and the box.
