This is a lovely early Davenports wand made in the thermoset plastics Ivorine and Ebonex. Probably from the earlt 1930s. These were turned and drilled like wood, this in not injection moulded plastic. This in not marked Demon, but they didn't consistently mark the breakaway wands and this is identical to a marked one in my collection.
